Social Networking Intern
The selected candidate will assist and support the executive team with a variety of networking and marketing initiatives. This position is ideal for a student in the field of Business, Marketing, or Communications.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Oversee and produce relevant content on all social media networks (Website News/Blog, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.)
Attend any necessary company meetings/events
Help develop new and/or more effective avenues of communication to reach target demographics and increase engagement
Interact and network with potential clients/supporters to promote membership, sponsorship, studio bookings, etc.
Assist in marketing & promotional efforts (distributing flyers, making network contacts, etc)
Requirements
Must have a professional attitude
Knowledge of social media platforms (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Pintrest, etc.)
Must have access to a computer/mobile device with internet
Excellent writing and oral communication skills
Analytical skills
Outgoing and personable
Ability to work independently and in a team setting
Desired Skills
Experience as a dancer or as a member of a dance company
Familiar with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc)
This is a NON-PAID internship, approximately 5-10 hrs/wk for 3 months to be filled IMMEDIATELY. Non-monetary benefits include college credit and special deals on company classes. We are seeking a candidate who has a flexible schedule and is available during our business hours from 4pm to 10pm.
