For Company Members

Rehearsals

  • (BE ON) TIME - 15 Minutes prior to rehearsals, put away your gear, settle in, be in the mindset, and warm-up & stretch before the start of rehearsals.
  • (ALWAYS) ALIGN - We are here to express our inner dancers, Always be ready to connect your life, culture and well-being. This involves taking time to truly aim for your fullest potential at all rehearsals.
  • (PRACTICE &) PRIME - Take time outside the dance crew and 3 Be3ts studio to work on your craft as a dancer and part of this company. Any experience with any pieces, routines, practices, and with choreographers, instructors, dancers, other dance companies and studios will bring in the strength of that dancer from within. This includes attending any 3 Be3ts Methodology Classes.

Performances

  • THREE WEEKS & THREE HOURS - Additional rehearsals may occur (at least) three weeks prior to the performance (unless it is a "flash"/rushed deadline). We will always prepare (at least) three hours on the performance day to review/rehearse the dances and prepare the mind, body and soul of every dancer within the crew.
  • REPRESENTATION - Remember that you are a representation of the crew, studio and entire dance company at all shows, events and performances. An honest, positive, calm reflection of yourself will bring the best out of yourself as well as representing the dance crew and the 3 Be3ts Dance Company.

Social & Fundraising

  • FUNDRAISING - Fundraising events will come up about 1 to 3 times a month. Company members must put in at least 50 hours per year (one hour per week) in the duration of their membership to include tuition for outfits, costumes, set designs and dancer fees.
  • OUTINGS - We have outings once-a-month. Although they are optional, it allows for time of bonding and getting to know one another. Essentially, the most connections you receive is when the "dance work" is at rest and you're given time to "take a be3t" for yourself. ^_^

Dance Company

  • SEMI-PROFESSIONAL COMPANY - We are a semi-professional competition, hip hop dance company. It is expected for all dancers to act professionally and strive to be industry-ready.
  • EL1TE BE3TS MISSION - Our main mission as a dance crew is to represent the individuality and uniqueness of each person's true inner dancer through the 3 Be3ts Method, then collaborate and support each other by coming together and bringing that same vision of expression through the art of dance.
